It’s quite ironic  how the idea of Heer Ranja and the birth of Askaan the Verah came about. The leadership as seen below were looking for a way to promote legendary folk story of Punjab – a special awakening. At a camping trip, we came together as a team and discussed that we wanted to set-up a project to give back what we have learnt on our separate journeys. It was always a good forum between us with many years of entertainment experience. On this camp site in Bala Lake ideas started to flow and a year later, Garden of Arts and Askaan da Verah came about.
